First you boot into a ram disk, select the drivers if any are needed to recognize targets, make partitions, create file systems, generate a filesystem mount table file, select software and install a boot loader. Relax it's all menu driven and the help while sparse is at every step. This tool is intended for system administrators but if you've booted it in a computer you don't mind destroying then you have more than qualified, welcome to the club. Anyone who can edit/save a file and fdisk a drive with a good grasp of the concepts can struggle through it, just take it from the top on each menu and don't skip ahead.
